We believe the way a story is made matters as much as the story itself. Our work brings together professional artists, emerging theatre-makers, charity partners and audiences. Through music, movement, writing, rehearsal and performance, people have opportunities to contribute, learn, express themselves and encounter experiences different from their own.

what if music can end
rough sleeping?
Eddie & Jenny is an original blues musical about homelessness and rough sleeping, substance dependency, mental health and recovery. The story asks audiences to look beyond labels and consider how trauma, poverty, responsibility and human connection shape people and the choices they make. Following the 2025 pilot at Exeter Phoenix, Purrple Cat is developing a larger production for future touring.
